In 2020, speakers were the most popular electronic item, making up 35% of all purchase. Smartphones were the second most common at 30%. Computers made up 15% and both tablet and smart watches had the smallest shares at 10% each.
By 2040, the situation is predicted to change significantly. Smartphones will become the most purchase product, increasing by 15% to 45%. Tablet will also rise sharply to 30%. In contrast, computer will drop from 15% to 5%. Speaker will fall significantly from 35% to 10%, while smart watches will remain stable at 10%..
