In 2008, volunteers carried out volunteer work in various areas. Most of the helpers were involved in educational and ecological events, with 24% and 21% respectively. Moreover, for sports activities, art, and other events, the average percentage of supporters involved showed 15%, 18%, and 15% provided by organizations. By contrast, the least number of contributors went to health services.
In 2014, the number of volunteers changed in many areas. Over the years, the percentage of supporters of physical activities and environmental events experienced an increase of 10% and 8% more people involved compared to six years before. Similarly, medical care volunteers also rose by 1%. However, in terms of art, education, and other events, the number of contributors decreased by almost the same percentage, 6% less than in 2008.
