Overall, strawberry, raspberry and grape showed an upward trend, while plum declined steadily over the period. Strawberry experienced the biggest increase and became the best-selling product in the end, whereas plum finished with the lowest figure.
In 2009, strawberry was the leading product at just over 3 million units, followed by raspberry and plum at around 2.5 million units each. Cherry recorded about 1.8 million units, while grape had the lowest sales, at only 0.5 million units. Over the next few years, strawberry rose steady to around 5 million units in 2012. Raspberry also increased gradually before rising sharply to just above 5 million units in the same year. Meanwhile, grape kept increase throughout the period although it started from the lowest point.
The most dramatic growth was seen in strawberry, which continued increasing and reached 7 million units in 2014. Raspberry overtook strawberry in 2012, but strawberry regained the first position in the following year. Cherry fluctuated slightly, peaking at just over 3 million units before falling to around 2.8 million units at the end. By contrast, plum declined continuously and eventually dropped to 0 million units, remaining the weakest product through the timeframe.
