The chart illustrated to us showcases the air pollution levels among four countries in 2012. The chart presents three main sources from which air pollution has resulted.
In terms of industrial air pollution, it is clear that China took the number one spot, with an astonishing 80%, followed by Japan at over 40%. America and Australia are third and fourth in the chart, with the lowest air pollution in 2012 among the four countries.
On the other hand, observing further in the chart, in the electricity generation pollution, Australia takes the third place, coming in front of Japan, but not charting higher than America at second and China in first.
Furthermore, transport’s effect in 2011 is way lower compared to the other two categories. Once again, the People’s Republic of China is the leader of the chart, followed by America at almost 60%, Japan at nearly 40%, and Australia with the least amount, yet again, nearly at 20% of air pollution.
Overall, the chart is mostly ruled by China, first place in two categories, and finally Australia. America and Japan seem to be in the middle throughout the chart. In all three sources of air pollution in 2012, the leading cause is industrial air pollution.
