The data presented below provides information about the nutritional values in some typical meals, which has been shown to be detrimental if consumed in excess. Overall, dinner accounts for the highest percentages of sodium and saturated fat which is in stark contrast with added sugar which is most noticeable in snacks.
The proportion of the content of sodium and saturated fat available in dinner and lunch are considerably similar based on the trend. There seem to be a consistent increase in composition as sodium showed the highest content at about 43% which is similar to saturated fat at around 37%. The amount of sodium and saturated fat in the afternoon meal is 29% and 26% respectively.
Snacks contain about 42% of added sugar while dinner had a value half of that. Lunch and breakfast only had a difference of about 3% of added sugar in their content. The fraction of saturated fat present in snacks had about 7% increase when compared with sodium.
