Overall, it is clear that cinemas remained in the highest position over a decade, meanwhile, theatres consistently held a second place, concerning its proportions. Regarding art galleries and classical music concerts, they were slightly popular at the beginning, although their attendance notably dropped by the end of the decade.
In the first 5 years, cinemas saw significant growth by more than 10%, before rising to 49%. On the other hand, theatres did not see a crucial change, the percentage increased by just 6%, reaching 26% by end of the decade. However, compared to other events with attendance under 10%, these two former places stayed at the top positions. For the first half of the decade, art galleries maintained third place in terms of proportions, at over 10%. Even though it was quite popular by attendees, 5 years later, its percentage sharply declined to 6%, giving the ballet the third place with 8%.
During the given period, the number of visitors to classical music concerts decreased by half (from 10% to 5%), however, 5 years earlier, the numbers were the same as opera(with 7%). On the other side, attendance at ballet and opera slightly fluctuated over a given period, nevertheless, they both saw a small growth. The figures for the former event increased by 2%, while the latter saw only a 1% rise.
