Overall, satisfaction with the airlines has been showed an upward tendency over time. Alternatively, the fulfillment for the different kinds of aspects of flying in Gullup Polls has the same upward trend pattern.
First of all, customer’s satisfaction with national airlines stood at 65% satisfied and on the other hand 32% of the customers are dissatisfied in 1999. The fulfillment of customers demonstrated growth, which has been rose 4% annually starting from 69% in 2000 and shot up to 72% in 2007. Conversely, the dissatisfaction trend has taken a nosedive with an identical pattern 4% downtrend, it began at 32% in 1999 and drop to 24% in 2007.
Additionally, customer fulfillment of specific features through flying according to Gullup Polls has shown that all kinds of satisfactions displayed a positive trend over the period such as service of flight attendants started with 88% in 1999 and gently increased up to 92% in 2007. Then, the satisfaction rate for courtesy of check-in/gate agents stood at 87% in 1999 and hit the peak at 89% in 2000 then made a drop to 88% in 2007. However, airline ticket’s price has been a notable upward trend among the others, it rocketed to 65% in 2007 by starting from 45% in 1999. For flight schedules, in 1999 customer satisfaction started with 75% and 2% increased in 2000, then, it remined stable till 2007. Lastly, fulfillment in the comfort seats category was recently added into the poll in 2007 and it stated as 47%.
