The two illustrations are existing and proposed plans for the revitalization of an art gallery.
Overall, it is clear that the entrance is in a different location in two plans. In existing plan, they are five different rooms, while the proposed plan creates a much larger, open-plan exhibition area by removing internal walls. The Parkinson Court remained unchanged over the two plans.
First and foremost, in existing plan the entrance was in the right-hand side and the first room from entrance was a lobby and room in the lower corner from entrance was an office. The first and second rooms after the lobby were used for temporary exhibition. Furthermore, following the two middle rooms, there is a permanent exhibition space in another middle room. Subsequently, the last specious hall in this plan wasn’t portion of existing gallery.
Secondly, in proposed plan the entrance was in the center of this building. The first vast room from entrance is a permanent exhibition space right now, while the room in the left side in this building created in existing gallery and a special exhibition space is located in this room. In the upper corner of special exhibition area is an exhibition store. Regarding the right side of this gallery were an education area and in the lower part of the middle room, there is a store/a plant.
