The diagram illustrates the sequential stages involved in the way stormwater is reused in a city of Australia.
It is readily apparent that the process comprises five main steps. It starts when rainfall goes down, continues with the treatment procedures and culminates when treated water is pumped into accommodations for consumption.
At the first stage, storm water falls down to the underground drainage system. After that, the water moves through a pipe to the water recycling plant which has four filtered stages in order to remove disposal from the storm water. The first plant is to clean plastic and rubbish, then tiny particles are eliminated, followed by erasing bacteria and viruses, then ensuring to cease molecules and salt.
At the next stage, water undergoes a treatment tank in which the Chlorine chemical is added at 4 mg/l. Subsequently, the purified storm water is stored in the water depots. In the last steps, the resulting water is pumped into households and can be used for utilization.
