The process involves three main stages, with two stages occurring below ground and the remaining one above ground.
Initially, the first section features an empty underground chamber with a lid, allowing fresh air to enter. Subsequently, logs are placed inside the chamber, and the combination of logs and fresh air ignites a fire, producing smoke. This smoke is then directed to the chamber above ground level where fish and meat are suspended for smoking.
The second section contains logs, a lid, and a pipe, serving as the site for generating smoke. Meanwhile, the third section portrays a box situated above ground level, accommodating hanging fish for smoking purposes.
