The graphic shows the process of water filtration and the production of drinking water.
Overall, it is a 3-stage, man-made, linear process. It begins with the filtering of non-filter water which contains ingredients such as sand, charcoal, and gravel, and finally results in clean water.
First of all, unclean water is put into a glass and is ready to be filtered. There are 3 parts in the water filter: sand on the bottom, charcoal in the center, and gravel on top of the other two. The process continues with another glass to collect the filtered water. After that, the water is cleaned of impurities and filtered.
Following that, the water is transferred to a new glass which continues the filtration process. The new container which holds the filtered water is smaller than the first, as it does not have any cleaning mechanisms. So, clean drinking water is ready, and the owner can turn on the tap and enjoy the water.
