The diagram depicts how plastic bottles are recycled.
Overall, the cycle involves 9 steps, begins with people putting plastic bottles into bins and ends with production of new various products. This achieved by turning plastic contairners into raw material that can be then turned into a range of plastic goods.
The process stars with the placement of plastic bottles into specialised bins, which are then collected by bins lorries. Next, they are transported to a recycling center to be sorted by hand. When they have been correctly sorted, they can be compessed into blocks of plastic bottles.
At step 5, the bottles are crushed, and the resulting fragments are dropped into a liquid so that they can be washed. The substance is then placed into a machine producing plastic pellets that can be then be haeted to produce the raw material. This can then be manufactured into various goods for human uses that contain plastic( clothes, containers, pens, bottles and bags)
