The map shows the renovation happened in Queen Mary Hospital. The redevelopment was done from 1950 until 2010.
Overall, the place experienced a dramatic change over the period of time, where it began from farmland with residential houses until it was converted into modernized blocks and infrastructure for civic use.
In detail, starting from a time period of 1950, the place was composed of a main road from the north side of the map. In addition, several houses from the west side were also noted before and from the southwest, a huge farmland was located, where it is adjacent to the playground from the southeast, and above it was the school’s location which can be seen in the east side of the map.
Following years had come, in 1980, houses were being demolished and converted into a parking lot and in between the school a science block was established. Moreover, farmland became a sports field, while the playground and main road remained untouched. Subsequently, in 2010 the car park was redeveloped and extended making the sports field and playground shrink in size. Hence, the main road, school, and science block stayed the same.
