The diagram below shows the process of producing ethanol.
Overall,it is clear that,there are three main stages beginning with collection of raw materials and ends with production of ethanol,including 10 steps of how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.
Looking at harvesting process, we can see energy which comes from sunlight and carbon dioxide is transmitted and effected to plants and trees growth.This process is called photosynthesis.After that, these trees are harvested.This products undergo a pre – processing process in which they breaks them down.Then, they become strands of cellulose.
At the next stage,which called exporting process.The cellulose is then taken to laboratories for processing to occur before being transformed into sugars. Then, microbes are added to the sugar so that the final product, ethanolis made. This ethanol is mainly consumed by cars, trucks, and airplanes. The process repeats again when the carbon dioxide that is released from vehicles or flights is absorbed by the plants and trees again.
