The linear diagram provided illustrates the step-by-step process behind cheese production, highlighting each stage from acidification to final distribution.
Overall, the image displays eight stages of the process, interconnetted each other. Commencing with the solidification of raw milk and culminating to refined dairy product.
Initially, raw milk is added with enzymes and bacteria, in order to react them through the process of acidification. As a result, the raw milk is solidified into curds and, subsequenlty, these are cutted into small pieces. After, heating and draining carefully executed to not comprimise the entire cycle. In addition, the liquid result of the previous process is minutiously salted.
Finally, the solution is shaped into a mechanical tool, which gives the geometry of a robust disk. Hence, the cheese disks are left to ferment, a two-month period essential for developing its distinct taste and texture. At the end, the cheese is protected by its packaging, to maintain its characteristics during transportation to shops.
