The image shows how a specific type of beans gets harvested and processed to reach to final customers.
First, the ripe pods are harvested and separated into beans and pulp. Only the beans are collected, while the pulp is thrown out. The beans are spreaded onto banana leaves, and get fermented under the sun for six days until their color turn brown from purple. These course of process is called fermentation stage.
After the fermentation stage, the fermented beans are relocated to raised mats and get dried for another ten to twenty days. When the beans got dried by desired state, they are gathered into sacks.
The sacks of beans are investigated by local agents, who weigh them and check for the quality. By their result, they assign the values and pays money to the farmers. Finally, the bean sacks are loaded onto trucks heading to ports for the exportation.
