The outline of the steps involved in production of denim trousers is illustrated in the diagram. Overall, this is a man-made process, which consists of 8 stages beginning with growing cotton and ending with shipping end-product to sellers.
First and foremost, cotton is nurtured in Asian countries, such as China and India. The crop is irrigated and treated with chemicals throughout growing process, which takes 160 days. After that, truck gathers and discretes fibre from the crop. Garnered raw material is sent to factory, where it undergoes washing, coloring, bleaching, followed by being spinned into threads. During yarn creation elastane can be added.
Threads than are sent to the fabric factory, where jeans material is knitted. Then, denim is delievered to another factory and at this stage zippers and buttons are installed. The end-product is ready to be transferred by sea cargo, after which it will be distributed to online and offline stores.
