The picture given demonstrates the process of making some types of leather things such as clothes, toys, and accessories.
Looking from an overall perspective, the process has 10 main stages, initiating with collecting animal skin, and ending with manufacturing those things in the factory.
At the first stage of process, a majority of types of animal leather are collected, which are the raw material. After drying progress, these raw hides are delivered to the factory and prepared for treatment. The third stage starts when dried animal leather is washed in the mixed liquid between water and lime meticulously. This is also a contamination removal process, which makes these skin dustless. Then, they are soaked in a lime container to become softened and ready for further stages.
With the support of modern equipment, the leather is flattened and devoted to ensuring the uniformity of these hides. Then, a vegetable tannin soaking process takes place, which helps these materials enhance durability. The seventh step is devoted to smoothing the materials’s surface by polishing them with the approval of another tool. Again, they have a final transport to the production facility, where end-product production happens. Finally, final items such as shoes and bags are produced when the factory finishes its final manufacturing step.
