There are seventeen steps involved in the process, starting from delivering fresh oranges to the factory and ending with transporting the product to supermarket shelves.
The first step involves a truck delivering fresh and ripe oranges to the factory. After that, the oranges undergo a washing process and are then placed onto a special machine for extraction.
The next stage includes two different paths. The first path uses the solid waste remaining from the extraction process as animal feed. The second path also has two outcomes: fresh juice is packaged and delivered to supermarkets for sale.
The alternative path begins with loading fresh juice onto a refrigerated truck and transporting it to an evaporation facility to remove water. Then, the concentrated juice is canned and stored in a warehouse for some time.
The final stage involves delivering the orange cans to a factory where water is added, and the product is packed for delivery to supermarkets for sale.
