The graphic illustrates the industrial process involved in the production of Orange juice.
Overall this involves imploring a complex multi stage process which all begins with transporting oranges from the farm to the factory and ends with the sealing and distribution of the finished products to retail shops.
The process kickstarts with oranges being taken to factories where they will have to be washed from a range of dirts. The oranges are then put into an extractor for the sole purpose of extracting the fruit from it’s peel, the skin are then fed to animals as food while a portion of the extracted juice can be packaged without additional sugar or preservaties and sold to shops. The rest of the extracted juice are transported via a refrigerator truck and are then injected into an evaporation machine to seperate water from the semi finished produce.
After evaporation have taken place, concentrated juice is born which is then canned and transported to a warehouse afterwhich it makes it’s journey to the water factory where a fair amount os water is then added to it for dilution producing a finished product that is then packaged and delivered at shops for the purpose of consumption by end users.
