This image illustrates the process of making recycled paper which involves four main steps: making pulp, filtering, cleaning, and finally producing paper.
To make pulp, used paper in crates is placed on a conveyor belt and then poured into a container filled with chemicals and water. The liquid mixture from the container flows down into a bucket of unfiltered pulp, where it undergoes filtration. After collecting the liquid pulp, the process moves to the cleaning stage. A special type of ink is added to the soapy water along with the filtered pulp, and air is pumped into the mixture to facilitate stirring. This mixture is then combined with water and chemicals once again.
The final step is the paper-making stage. The cleaned pulp is directed onto a conveyor belt where it is flattened using six heated rollers. A small amount of water is added to complete the sheets. The conveyor belt then transforms the paper sheets into thick rolls of recycled paper.
