It is noticeable that married women with three or more children allocated the most time to unpaid work. Meanwhile, for married men, the highest amount of time was spent by those with 1-2 children.
To be specific, In terms of married women, couples with 3+ children have the most time allocated in household chores, recording at just short 60 hours. This was followed by parents of one to two children, where the number stands at roughly 52 hours in a week. Moreover childless spouses register the lowest figure, spending 30 hours over per week.
In stark contrast, husbands without children and those with small families show a similar level of time spent, reaching at just under 20 hours. Lastly, the least amount of time is taken by couples of three or more children, which hits a low of about 15 hours throughout the week
