Married women without any children would spend 30 hours every week on househore compared to married man in the same situation only spend 19 hours every week. Moving to married women with one child or two children , unpaid work cost them 51 hours a week , however , it merely cost married men in the same circumstance 18 hours a week. Additionally , it took married women with three more children 60 hours per week to do unpaid work but solely 18 hours of unpaid work did married men with three more children do.

In conclusion , more children married female had , more hours they would spend on unpaid work. Nevertheless, the trend for married men was opposite : the more children they hand , the less hours they spend on unpaid work.
