Considering from an overall perspective, in the intitial stage, eggs are laid down and in the final stage mature egg laying female observed and the cycle remains continuous.
To begin with, in the initial stage, eggs are laid down which remains for 8-24 hours. In the next stage, larva is noticed, which comes out from the eggs. In the subsequent stage, the small growth is observed after 4-7 days in larva. After that, the size of larva is increased.
Furthermore, after several stages, pupa is observed after 10 to 20 days of the period. Subsequently, the young adult is noticed after some days. Afterwards, mature young female is ready to laid down eggs after 20 days and the cycle remains continue over the period. Overall, the average lifecycle of fly is around 2-4 weeks.
