The glance at pictorial diagram depicts the 20-year-old Central Library’s floor map as well as the current map of the library.
Twenty years ago, the plan of the Central Library included a single entrance and division on the same side of two pairs of tables and chairs beside adult fiction as well as adult non-fiction books. Moreover, on each edge of the library, there were different zones for computer games, children’s books, reading rooms, and an enquiry desk.
As data suggests, the current map is different from the previous. The Central Library has been renovated. The children’s corner room area has been changed into a lecture room. A café and a computer room, especially for adults, have also been added. On one hand, the adult fiction book section is now changed with all reference books. On the other hand, adult non-fiction sections, information desk, and self-service machines are added. In addition, a room for previously used computer games and children’s books now includes sofas and storytelling events as well as a children’s fiction book section. Both sofas are located on opposite sides of each other.
Overall, there was a significant change in the 20-year-old plan and current plan, with an increase in facilities and newly added sections.
