The picture depicts the transformation of local library from 20 years ago till present date. Overall, considerable changes have taken place, especially with the inclusion of the computer room replacing CDs and video games and the introduction of cafe.
To begin with, an enquiry desk used to be located at first right from an entrance now transformed into cafe, consequently left to the entrance was allocated to reading room now its replaced with the computer room. In adjacent to computer room all reference books section was erected in place of adult fiction books, which transferred to opposite side now adjacent to cafe, with the self service machine and information desk.
Another notably alteration is storytelling room it becomes spacious with the inclusions of children’s fiction books in place of Cds, videos, and computer games. Lecture room was constructed on the place of children’s books. Meanwhile, Tables and chairs have been removed from the centre location.
