The picture depicts the transformation of local library from 20 years ago to the present date. Overall, considerable changes have taken place, especially with the inclusion of the computer room replacing CDs and video games and the introduction of a cafe.
To begin with, an enquiry desk used to be located at first right from an entrance now transformed into a cafe. Consequently, left of the entrance area was allocated to the reading room, which room now replaced with the computer room. Adjacent to the computer room, the reference books section was erected in place of the adult fiction books, which were transferred to opposite side now adjacent to cafe, with the self-service machine and information desk.
Another notable alteration is storytelling room , which becomes spacious with the inclusions of children’s fiction books in place of CDs, videos, and computer games. Lecture room was constructed on the place of children’s books. Meanwhile, Tables and chairs have been removed from the central location.
