The image illustrates the life cycle of a frog in various stages. The cycle begins with the eggs (1), where female lays eggs (frogspawn) in water; this stage lasts 7-10 days. The next stage (2) involves tadpoles, which feed on algae. At stage (3), tadpoles continue to develop over a period of 9 weeks. In stage (4), tadpoles undergo further growth over another 9-week span. Stage (5) results in a froglet, which marks the start of pulmonary breathing over a period of 12 weeks. In stage (6), the froglet transitions into a young frog. Finally, the young frog matures into an adult frog (7) over the course of 4 years. The adult frog (8) then mates and lays eggs, completing the cycle.

The diagram illustrates different stages of frog’s life time.
Overall, frog go through 8 stages which start with two frogs mating then female frog lays eggs. From which tadpoles form and tadpoles pass through a number of stages to become a froglet, a young frog and finally an adult frog to start the life cycle again.
Firstly, two adult frogs mate and the female frog lays eggs in the water which are called frogspawn. Seven to ten days later the eggs form the tadpole which can swim and eat food. After 6 weeks, the tadpole grows bigger and develop back legs. This development continues 9 weeks later the tadpole grows more bigger and form the front legs. It’s head and body become more distinct.
Twelve weeks after the tadpole become a froglet which look more like a small frog and start of pulmonary breathing, this enables it to leave the water and breathe on the ground. Over time the froglet evolves into young frog and eventually 4 years later matures into an adult frog ready to start the life cycle again
