The picture depicts how sugar is manufactured from sugar canes. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that this man-made process comprises various stages, beginning with sugar canes being planted for a specific amount of time, followed by a variety of physical steps, and ending with finished products being formed after being dried and cooled.
At the first stage of the process, sugar canes are grown in a suitable environment for approximately 12 to 18 months, after which they are either harvested automatically by a special type of vehicle or manually chopped by farmers. In the subsequent step, sugar canes are gathered and go through a specialized machine where juice is extracted and carefully collected with a container.
The process continues with cane juice being purified by using a funnel consisting of a limestone filter. Following this, filtered juice is poured into an evaporator in order to eliminate the presence of excess water and turn the juice into a more syrup-like form. Subsequently, sugar syrup goes through a centrifuge in which sugar crystals are fully separated from the syrup. Finally, sugar is dried and cooled in a large container under appropriate conditions.
