Overall, the all process consists of four main stages-egg, larva( caterpillar), pupa(chrysalis) and finaly adult(Butterfly). It is a cycle process, as for the Butterfly lays egg to begin the cycle process again.
First of all, adult lays eggs which very small like size of pin head, starting this life process. After that, these eggs hatch into larvae, also known like caterpillar. During In that stage, caterpillar eats and grows significant and its appears black or purple with yellow-green stripes.
Following the next years, third stages is pupa or chrysalis, they make forms outer shell. This look like reddish brown and is where pupa tronsformate into Butterfly stage. Finaly, this is the end of butterfly life cycle and in that time they lays eggs for contune their population.
