The bar chart depicts the rate of wheat production which is produced by distinct areas, including Asia, Europe and rest of the world over 160-year span from 1840.
Overall, it is evident that Asia and Europe experienced a significant shift, while rest of world witnessed a rise constantly with the exception of 2000. Most noticeably, the considerate decline was recorded in Asia in the first half of period, whereas Europe show an opposite trajector.
Starting to the highest level of 50%, Asia reported a sharp decrease by 1920 with only a firth, before increasing sharply at the end, approximately 45%. In contrast, Europe experienced a gradual increase throughout the first half of the period, ranging form 40% to 50% after falling to almost a third. Additionally, rest of the world contributed a consitent increase, rised by nearly fourfolds over the following 120 years, it saw a slight decrease by 2000.
