The plans display a school library on the ground floor in 2001 and in 2009, after it was renovated.
Overall, the main changes were the introduction of new sections and the modernisation of facilities, while the south side of the library remained unchanged.
In 2001, the library contained a limited number of book categories, whereas by 2009, more sections had been introduced. The fiction area was replaced by a children’s books section, and other areas were reorganised into smaller designated spaces. In addition, several new sections were added to the library layout.
Turning to the east side, the newspapers and periodicals area was converted into a space for films and DVDs, and computers were installed, reflecting technological development. In the centre of the library, the original eight small tables were replaced by four larger ones. On the south side, however, the librarian’s desk and stairs remained unchanged throughout the period.
