The provided diagrams illustrate how a medical centre developed in 2008 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that a medical centre witnessed major changes. The key shifts include the expansion of doctor’s offices and the introduction of new facilities.
In 2008, the main entrance of the centre was at the middle of the lower wall, opening to a reception and a staff office. A laboratory was on the right- hand side of the entrance, while the opposite side was a waiting room. Moreover, a corridor ran from west to east. A treatment room was built in the top left-hand corner and three doctor’s offices were next to it.
In 2010, the centre experienced some changes. The treatment room, waiting room, staff office, reception and laboratory remained unchanged. A new pharmacy was built above the laboratory. A education room and a mother and child room was constructed to the west of the waiting room. The doctor’s office areas were expanded by one more room. Furthermore, a store room was added next to the doctor’s office on the top right- hand corner.
