The maps depict how the layout of the Woodwards University has been changed between 1985 and the present day. Overall, the layout has undergone substantial transformations, the most of which include a big replacement of car park with a shuttle bus terminal, the disappearance of biology block, and the expansion of admin building and library. Notably, the university has become more padestrian-friendly.
In 1985, there was a big biology block in the heart of the city, near which was a car park. Additionally, the chemistry block was situated at the bottom of physics block in the northern-east side of the map. Further from the center of the university layout, Library was located on the northern-western corner of the map. To the south, there was a road running from west to east, separating the northern and southern parts of the univeristy. While the south-west side of the map was occupied by a sizeable car park, the admin building was situated in the sout-east.
Significant developments have occured by now. The principal changes included the addition of footpaths in the place of car infrastructure. The biology block has gone and there were now footpaths, linking the library and a new lecture room. Where one of the car parks stood, there were now a lecture room. In addition, physics and chemistry blocks has gone adn in their place was new modern and big science labarotories. While admin building has been reduced in size, a huge car park has turned into a shuttle bus terminal.
