The diagram illustrates the brick manufacturing process for building industry. Overall, to make bricks, clay should be treated through several steps including shifting, moulding, drying, heating, tempering, as well as packaging before delivering it to the customers.
First of all, the dug clay, must be shifted through metal grid, and crushed by a roller. Then, sand and water were added, combined they will form the soft mouldable brick-mixture. After that, the mixture is either cut with wire cutter or formed with mould to shape it into similar size. For 1 day to 2 days, the wet clay mixture is being dried inside the drying oven.
On the next step, it was then put inside series of heated kilns. The first heating step introduces a moderate temperature of 200 C to 350 C to the soft bricks, then the next kiln will crank up the temperature ranging from 870 C to 1300 C. The hardened bricks are then tempered inside the cooling chamber for 2 days to 3 days. In the end, the bricks will be packaged and delivered to the recipients.
