The diagram below depicts how to produce a lead pencil. Overall, the pictorial process consists of three main stages, which are planting, manufacturing and packaging stage. These processes required for typically 18 years.
Initially, the process begins by plating a sapling, which are have to transplanted after 4 months. Upon reaching three years of maturity, they had been to pruned stage and then harvested after 14 years.
In the second stage, the logs were processed into thin wooden slats. After that, they have to treated for 60 days to prevent rot. The core, made of black lead, is inserted into grooves. The second slat which is matching with groove is glued by the first, and forming a sandwich. The sandwich is then pressed toughly together under the heat and then trim the pencil rolls.
Eventually, after this process, each pencil was painted, precisely sharpened, and stamped for branding. Ultimately, the pencils were then placed into the packaging and prepared for distribution.
