Overall, it can be clearly seen that the process of making aluminium cans contains 11 stages, which could be divided into two main parts, namely preparing the waste and turning it into new cans. In terms of time, the whole process lasts six weeks.

Preparing begins with waste aluminium cans being gathered and collected, which could be done with the help of lorries. Having been gathered, all the waste is sent to factories to be deposited and recycled. After they are being sent, there is water purification to remove any contaminants. As soon as they have been cleaned, the cans are crushed into small pieces in order to make the process straightforward. After the process, the aluminium cans are erased with chemicals.

The second part of producing aluminium cans includes five steps. Firstly, the cans are heated, and shaped in the mould to have the same size. Secondly, the weight of those cans is measured before the rolling process. Finally, the new cans are produced after all of these steps.
