The diagram illustrates the production process of recycling plastics. Overall, the process consists of 6 steps, beginning with the consumption of plastic products and ending with the sale of recycled items in shops.
At first, new products displayed in shops are bought by the consumers and thrown away. Plastic bags and other waste are discarded in landfills, while certain plastic products like bottles are gathered before being taken to a sorting facility.
Upon sorting by color, shape and size, the plastic rubbish is then loaded onto trucks and driven to recycling houses. Subsequently, the plastic waste is processed to create newly recycled plastic products. Lastly, the final products are sold to consumers at retail shops.
