the picture illustrates water cycle, which is the process of the consistant movement of water on, above and under the surface of the earth.
Overall, there are various stages in the process, from the evaporation of ocean water in air to rainfall to underground runoff of water to the ocean again.
At the beginning of the process, about 80% of total water vapour in the air is the evaporation of ocean water under the high temperature of the sunshine. This is followed by condensing water vapour to form clouds. Subsequently, because of precipitation, water in the clouds fall in the Earth.
The process continues with rainwater falling in the lakes and flowing into the sea. Besides, rainwater also fall in the surface of the ground, and then reaches impervious layer which water don’t seep into. Finally, groundwater pour into the ocean mixing with salt water and the ocean water vaporizes again.
