The provide flow chart Illustrates the various stages of water cycle.
Overall, it is a cyclic process and mainly consists of 4 stages including evaporation, condensation, precipitation and mixing with ocean. This starts with the evaporation water to form clouds upon the exposure of sun and culminated with the rain falling down to the surface in different forms.
To begin with, the process begins with the water being evaporated under the exposure of sun and vapors raises upward to accumulate clouds. When the clouds gather enough water, precipitation occures to different parts of the earth in different forms particularly rain, snow and hail.
Following this, once the water reaches to the surface it forms in various shapes. Some of it is stored in a mountainous region as a snow. While other portion reaches below the ground as a groundwater and percolation. The remaining portion falls in river. Ultimately the water meets to the ocean. This way the cyclic process starts over and over again.
