Overall, the highest proportion of TV viewers are from the age categories: 41-50 and 51-60, while people aged 25-30 and 31-40 watch television less frequently. In the beginning, women of all the ages used to watch TV more often than men, but then these indicators have shown approximately the same numbers, and even higher for some men.
To begin with, in 2020, women of all ages used to watch TV more often than men. Females aged 25-30 had 15 hours of television time per week, while their male peers had only 10 hours. And both men and women aged 31-40 watched TV for 15 hours, while those who are 41-50 have spent 22 and 25 hours, respectively. Furthermore, males and females who were between 51 and 60 have spent 24 and 27 hours watching television, respectively, which is more than for any other group of people.
The trends for 2021 are different, since most people have been viewing TV at approximately the same level. For instance, all of those who are 25-30 and 41-50 years old have spent 10 and 27 hours, respectively. Moreover, the graph shows that women who are 31-40 years old have watched TV for 22 hours, which is 2 hours longer than for men at the same age. However, men from the age category ’51-60′ have been spending 3 hours more than their female peers, reaching 25 hours in a week.
