The diagram illustrates how honey is produced by bees.
Overall, it is a natural and linear process, that consists of seven different stages. The process begins with bees flying out of their hive in search of flowers and ends with collected honeycombs and jars full of honey.
The process starts with a number of bees leaving their hive, searching for a flower. After they find one, bees start to collect the nectar within the plant. After this step bees return to the hive, placing gathered nectar into cells and starting a transformation of nectar into honey.
First of all, bees fan their wings around the cells, creating airflow that helps water evaporate. Once the evaporation process is complete, the honey becomes ready for use. Finally, it can either be stored in honeycombs or collected and placed into jars.
