The diagram illustrates the process involved in making ceramic pots from digging raw materials to manufacture them to producing pots.
Overall, it is clear that the procedure can be divided into three main stages: initial preparation (excavating and transporting), processing (crushing, mixing, moulding and drying) and the final handling (heating and colouring).
In the first stage – initial preparation, raw materials are dug by excovator, after which they are delivered to the factory.
The second stage is processing which stars with crushing the raw materials by crusher, followed by mixing the crushed materials using a mixer before moulding the mixed materials. The moulded materials have been then dried for 4-6 hours to have assembled clay pots.
The final stage involves heating and colouring. The assembled pots are then heated at 1000°C in an oven, the heated pots are coloured and the coloured pots are fired to have finished pots.
