The presented diagram shows the step-by-step process of making steel rods in the furniture industry. In general, the process consists of eleven stages, starting from preparing the raw material and concluding with inspection.
First and foremost, all of the raw materials, encompassing iron ore, yellow ore, and carbon, must be prepared in a metal basket. Stepping into the melting process, these materials are transferred into the melting slit and heated with the temperature ranging from 1300-1500 degree Celsius. Once melted, the melted mass is poured into the smelting cabin to undergo refinement. After that, the candescent metal is poured into ingots using the pouring machine.
The ingots are connected to a cooling reservoir, which has a low temperature ranging from 60-100 degree Celsius. During the strand casting stage, the metal goes through nozzles, forming a strand of cooled metal. Furthermore, these strands enter into the rolling procedure, where it will be rolled to create the perfect cylinder shape with rollers. The cylinders further will be heated in the heating machine and going for surface check with automatic measurement. Moreover, the cylinders’ size will be customized according to the market interest using a cutter. Following this step, the product will be stamped with the ID stamp for the purpose of tracking the product. Finally, the steel rods went through a thorough quality inspection before being deemed ready to use.
