The diagram highlights the process by which news and pictures are printed on newspaper pages called lithography.
There are 6 steps in the process, from placing paper in the machine to drying it by hot and cold airs.
At the first, papers are placed in the beginning of production line. After that, they are directed to the dampening part, which has the task of uniformly moistening the all surfaces and includes two cylindrical rolls. Following that, they are transferred to the ink rollers by 3 cylinders. In this section, all the plates are covered with ink. Then, blanket cylinder which has the duty of sending provided image to production line, guides the plates. Subsequently, these images are printed on the desired surfaces by impression section. At the end of this process, the printed pages are moved on hot and cold dryer plates.
