The process displays the lithography which is a technique of how to print newspapers. Overall, there are three main stages in the process, starting with wetting the papers and ending with drying the newspapers.
Firstly, the papers are fed into the machine to be wetted by the dampening rollers. After being dampened, the sections with images will be inked by ink rollers, while areas without pictures won’t absorb ink.
Next, the plate cylinder will rotate and stick the images onto the blanket cylinder. At the next stage, the papers are placed between the impression cylinder and the blanket cylinder so that the images will be pressed firmly into the papers. Finally, the printed images are transferred to the drying area so that they will be dried by hot air and cold air to freeze the ink on the papers.
In conclusion, the process of lithography uses water, ink, a variety of chemicals, and several rollers or cylinders to produce and distribute an enormous quantity of newspapers.
