The picture illustrates how the olive oil is produced.
Overall, the process encompasses seven key steps, commencing with the olive cultivation and culminating with the distribution of olive oil to sales points.
Focusing on the first three stages, farmers start the process by picking ripe olive from the trees. The olive selected is then put into the rinsing machine in order to wash away the staples or leaves by cold water. Subsequently, when the olive is washed thoroughly, it will be smashed in a typical tank to make paste, while the olive stones will be removed.
Having smashed the paste, this material is put in a bag with holes before pressing to make oil and fed into the steamed cage. Once this step happens, water steam is evaporated leaving the oil at the bottom of the cage which is the main product of this process. Finally, the olive oil will be stored or sold in the supermarket.
