The diagram shows differences in the infrastructure of London from 1995 until present. The diagram has two sides, the left side displaying information about a map of London in 1995, whilst the right side shows details about the map in the present year.
In 1995, it is observed that there are significant hallmarks being the farmland, situated on the top right and below it is the forest park. It also has a housing complex on the upper left corner, along with a row of shops near the beachside. The present time demonstrates that the housing complex is still there, the farmland has now become a golf course and other key features such as the row of stores have now become restaurants.
Firstly, 1995 exhibits that there was once a fishing port, fishing market, and other changes that were completely either removed, destroyed or replaced. For instance, the fishing port existed in 1995 but in the present does not, shops have now been converted to restaurants and the number of houses in 1995 were just 12.
Secondly, the present shows that the the amount of houses has grown to 16. Alternatively, a new road was constructed on the western side, allowing two more homes to be built on the side of the road. Additionally, the hotel from 1995 is still running and even has established a car park next to it. Two key differences are that the farmland and the forest park have been converted to a golf course and a tennis field. Alongside that replacement, the fish market is now a row of apartments.
