The two maps show how London has developped over the last thirty five years.
Overall the size of the town stayed the same throughout the years however the area witnessed several changes . The most noticeable one is the removal of the fishing industrie and of the farmland that were replaced by more accommodations and a sport area.
To begin, in 1995 London had already established itself as an economically dynamic city thanks to the fishing idustrie but also thanks to the agriculture, with vast area of farmland located in the northeast of the town next to a forest park. The fishing facilities was supported by a port and some markets situated in the south by the sea . The accomodations were located maily in the northern part of the town with twelve housing along the main road. To welcome touristes, a hotel can be found in the south-east of the city, above the road and to the right of several shops.
Currently, the city developed in a more touristic area. Indeed the fish industrie was removed and apartments were built replacing the fish market along the main road. The shop were replaced by some restaurant in the southwest of the citie. Moreover a car park was created next to the hotel and accomodations were add in the northern part of the town next to the old one. The most visible transformation would be the sport facilities that replaced the farmland and the forrest park with the golf and two tennis courts in the northeast of the citie.
