The graphic presents the layout of the biomedical cumpus in thecampus at present and how it will be in the future after adjusting byadjustments according to the plan.
Overall, the area will witnessedwitness various transformations, the most notable of which are the increase in size of the Biotech room and the removal of green areaareas to add more scienticscientific facilities and accommodate more cars.
At present, the northern half of the site is mostly covered with trees, together with a small car park in the north-east corner. This ereaarea is separated from the academic zone by an east westeast-west zone. In the planned version, the northennorthern site will still contain some green trees but less than it is now, so that they can add more medical facilitiesmore medical facilities can be added, such as the Genetics room 1 in the north-west corner and Bioimaging in the center. The existence of car park will be remainedremain in the planned vissionvision, but it will become a place for containing student’s car.students’ cars.
The southern half of the site will also be reworked. At present, it contains two labs onin both corner,corners, a Genetics room and Biotech, and a Biochemistry room divided by a central walkway. By far,Currently, the south-left corner is now mostly open land with trees. However, in the new land,plan, the southern site will still contain what it has in the present atat present in the right corner, but there will be an increase in the size of the Biotech room. On the other side, the lab will still maintain it’sits position, but the Biochemistry room will be moved and repositioned diagonally. Trees will be removed to add for some more car parkparks which will be used by staff, and this land will be separetedseparated from the originoriginal to make a new road.
